Ghana and Nigeria will battle it out for one of the slots at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar later this year after the two countries were drawn for the final round of qualifies.
Asamoah Gyan, former captain of the Black Stars believes the game will go down the wire and Ghana will need all the support to make an appearance in Qatar.
In an interview with Tv3, the continent's all time leading scorer at the World Cup struggled to pick a side, as he insisted the game is unpredictable.
"Ghana and Nigeria is rivalry, you cannot predict. Anybody can win so we just have to stay focus and do what they have to do on the field, that is it," he said.
"No matter what we will keep on supporting them," he added.
It is unclear if the legendary forward will make a return to the Black Stars after disclosing that he is not yet done with football.
Despite not featuring for the team in two years, the 36-year-old forward gives his full backing to the team.
"Anybody who says he does not support the national team is a hypocrite," he said. "When you are there and your country is losing, you will feel it because you are from the country."
Gyan missed the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time since 2008 as Ghana bowed out of the tournament at the group stage.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that former Ghana captain, Asamoah Gyan has opened his doors to young footballers seeking advice to excel in their careers.
The 36-year-old, who recently ended his punditry job with South African TV channel Super Sports, is set to return to the field for a final shot at his illustrious career.
And following his return from South Africa, he told Tv3, he is ready to offer advice to any footballer especially the young ones to help them succeed.
