Black Stars head coach, Milovan Rajevac misses former captain of the senior national team, Asamoah Gyan, as his team struggles to score at the Africa Cup of Nations.

The Serbian trainer worked with Asamoah Gyan between 2008 to 2010, during his first stint in charge of the Black Stars, and the two helped Ghana reached the finals of the competition in 2010 and the quarter finals of the World Cup in the same year.

Ahead of Tuesdays game against Comoros Island, Milovan Rajevac admitted the 2010 squad could count of Gyan for the goals.

"It’s not easy to find another Asamoah Gyan, he was able to score from any position at any time so definitely this team is growing and we are going to sort it out so expect the team to be more efficient in the attack and be more concentrated in the last stage of the match," he said.

Gyan failed the Black Stars team for the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time since 2008, having been present in many tournaments.

Meanwhile, the Black Stars will need goals against AFCON debutants Comoros Island to progress to the last 16 of the competition.
