Legendary Ghanaian footballer, Asamoah Gyan, has revealed he will be launching a book about his life, career and business after meeting president Nana Akufo-Addo last week.
The 36-year-old, who is yet to hang his boots met the country's president together with his team to discuss the launch of his autobiography.
Gyan in a post on Twitter, thanked His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo ahead of arrangements for the official release his book.
"On Thursday, My Team and I, together with Mr. Anthony Baffoe and the Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Mustapha Ussif, visited the president at the Jubileee House to have further discussion on my Book launch. Thank H. E President Nana Akufo-Addo," he wrote on Twitter.
The former Ghana captain has had an interesting career, which has seen him ply his trade through three continents. Gyan played in Africa, Europe and Asia.
He was one time the darling boy of then English Premier League side Sunderland, before he made a shocking switch to the Gulf, where he became a king.
In China, when he was playing for Shanghai SIPG, he was Africa's highest paid player.
However, these days he is unattached after ending his stay with Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities.
He also missed out on the Africa Cup of Nations team for the first time since 2008.

Earlier, SportsBrief.com reported that, Asamoah Gyan, Ghana's all time leading scorer, will be part of SuperSport TV's specialist analysts when the Africa Cup of Nations begins on Sunday, January 9, 2022.
