Ghanaian football fans have taken to social media to beg Jordan Ayew for forgiveness, after his dazzling display against South Korea on Monday at the World Cup in Qatar.

The Crystal Palace star produced a brace of assists, as Ghana defeated South Korea 3-2 in a thrilling encounter at the Education City stadium in Al Rayyan.

Ayew was massively criticised by fans after the game against Portugal last Thursday, which the Black Stars lost after the forward was introduced.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Kudus was Man of the Match, after Ghana's entertaining victory over South Korea in their second Group H game at the World Cup.

The Ajax star scored twice to help Ghana to a 3-2 victory, at the Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan on Monday afternoon.

The 22-year-old gave the Black Stars a clear lead before half time, through assists from Jordan Ayew and Gideon Mensah.
