So far this season, the Blues have struggled in front of the goals, with their forwards unable to live up to expectations and in turn, putting Graham Potter under serious pressure.
While there have been some fans who believe the English manager should be fired to make way for a more experienced tactician, others feel the solution can be found upfront.
According to the report by Football Insider, Chelsea are ready to enter the transfer war with other clubs as they reportedly want Osimhen to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Blues must be aware that the likes of Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, and even Arsenal are monitoring the Nigerian youngster.

FootballSports Brief also reported on Osimhen's growing popularity in Naples, with a resident working Abuja explaining how people flock to the striker when he walks on the city streets.
The resident, whose name was stated to be Pablo, said he was surprised Nigerians were seemingly subdued about the striker, who has scored 21 times in the Serie A this term.
Osimhen arrived at Napoli from French club, Lille in the summer of 2020 and has since established many good relationships with both club fans and the residents of Naples.
