Chelsea travelled across London yesterday and returned home empty-handed after losing 2-0 to rivals Tottenham away at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

It was Chelsea's first loss since the stadium's opening in 2017, having won six and drawn two of the previous eight meetings, with former head coach Thomas Tuchel beating Spurs seven times.

The loss moved Chelsea farther away from the top 4 on points and closer to the relegation zone but stayed firmly rooted to 10th place on the Premier League table.

The result compounded pressure on head coach Graham Potter, and the fans have grown more frustrated and want the former Brighton manager out of the club.

The Blues faithful have had enough and want the former Brighton manager sacked. Arash Moaref, a Twitter user @CFCOrash started a petition on change.org to have Potter sacked after the match ended.

The petition has gathered pace, and as of the time of this report, it had crossed 33,000 signatures and, at 35,000, will become one of the most signed petitions on the platform.

The Blues are no strangers to petitions. As reported by Evening Standard, they once started a petition to have Anthony Taylor banned from officiating their games after his error allowed two Tottenham goals in the first leg 2-2 draw.

Potter takes responsibility for results
