Graham Potter has emerged as the Chelsea manager with the worst Premier League record in the history of the club.

The Blues have endured a disastrous run of form across competitions under the Englishman, with the club managing just two Premier League wins from 14 matches.

Chelsea's most recent EPL outing ended in a 1-0 defeat against bottom-placed Southampton at Stamford Bridge.

According to The Sun, Potter has now led Chelsea to just five Premier League wins since he took charge of the club back in September.

The torrid run of results leaves the Englishman with a dismal win percentage of just 29.4 per cent in the English top flight league - the worst by any Chelsea manager in the history of the club.

But who else had an equally woeful reign at the helm of affairs at Stamford Bridge?

Sports Brief takes a look at the top 10 Chelsea managers with the worst Premier League records:

10. Roberto Di Matteo

Roberto Di Matteo took charge of Chelsea during the 2011/12 season after the dismissal of Andre Villas-Boas.

The Italian led the Blues in 23 Premier League matches, winning 12 of those and losing five others. His win rate translates to 52.2%.

9. Claudio Ranieri

Ranieri was in charge of Chelsea between 2000 and 2004.

During the time, he was in charge of 146 games, winning 76 of those to translate to a 52.1%.

8. Frank Lampard

Lampard's reign as Chelsea boss lasted for about 18 months - between July 2019 and January 2021.

He guided the Blues to 28 Premier League wins in 57 games - translating to a 49.1% win rate.

7. Andre Villas-Boas

The Portuguese was only able to take charge of 27 Premier League games during his short stint with Chelsea.

He was able to win 13 of those matches which equates to a 48.1% win rate.

6. Gianluca Vialli

A former Chelsea player and eventually manager, Gianluca Vialli was in charge of the Blues between 1998 and 2000.

He led the club in 94 Premier League games, winning 47.9% of those.

5. Ruud Gullit

The Dutchman managed Chelsea for about two years between 1996-98.

The former midfielder was able to win 47.6% of the 63 Premier League matches he managed the club.

4. David Webb

David Webb's short stint as Chelsea boss saw him manage the club in just 13 Premier League games.

Webb won just 38.9% of the games.

3. Glenn Hoddle

Glenn Hoddle was a player/manager at Chelsea between 1993 and 1996.

During the period, he took charge of 122 Premier League games, winning 31.1% of those.

2. Ian Poterfield

Poterfield was only able to win 31% of the 29 Premier League games he managed Chelsea.

1. Graham Potter

Last on the list is Graham Potter. As highlighted earlier, the former Brighton boss has been able to win 29.4% of the games he has managed Chelsea.

He will be hoping to get the Blues' Premier League campaign back on track next weekend when they play rivals, Tottenham Hotspur.

Chelsea's stance on Graham Potter

Sports Brief also reported on the Chelsea board reportedly having no intention of sacking Potter, despite the club's underwhelming run of results so far.

The Blues' manager has come under immense scrutiny since he succeeded Thomas Tuchel at the helm of Stamford Bridge back in September last year.

The former Brighton and Newcastle boss has been unable to steady the ship at the club, with the English club managing just one win in 10 outings.
