FootballChelsea Owner Boehly Joins Twitter Debate Between Mudryk and Arsenal Signing Trossard
- Chelsea hijacked Mykhailo Mudryk from the grasp of Arsenal for £88m from Shakhtar Donetsk
- The Gunners responded by signing Belgian winger Leandro Trossard from Brighton
- Todd Boehly waded into a Twitter debate on who is better between the two winter signings
By this time last week, Arsenal were in pole position to complete and announce the signing of Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhailo Mudryk, but 24 hours later he was on a plane to London to complete his Chelsea medicals.
The Gunners were left with an egg to the face after their London rivals stole a player they have courted for months under their nose. They have now responded by signing Leandro Trossard from Brighton.
Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly is a fun man on Twitter, from joining spaces to listening to liking controversial posts. He waded in on a debate on who is the better player between his signing and Trossard.

The incident was spotted by CBS Sports journalist, Ben Jacobs who uploaded the screenshot of it on his Twitter handle.

FootballHe unliked the post later but not early enough as it was captured by users on the platform. Mount had been one of Chelsea's best players since he was given his debut by Frank Lampard.
He is currently in a contract standoff with the club, and as reported by Guardian earlier today, the club have stepped up talks with their academy product but an agreement is yet to be reached, with Liverpool reportedly interested if there is no breakthrough.
