'Chelsea fans will love Mudryk'
Potter has another addition to his attacking options, after multiple injuries and the suspension of loan signing, João Felix. The Atletico Madrid loanee was red carded on debut, as reported by Sky Sports.
Speaking after the game, as quoted by Metro, the Blues' boss praised the 22-year-old and pointed out why Chelsea fans will love him.
"[Mudryk] is a young player with exciting quality in the final third. He is very fast and direct, and I think our supporters will really like him," he said.
The former Brighton manager went ahead to highlight what Mudryk will bring to a team that has been mostly lacking in attack, since the departure of Eden Hazard for Real Madrid.
"In terms of what [Mudryk] brings, he’s a player with a big, exciting future. One versus one, he’s very direct; he attacks the back-line, can go into wide areas, but also affects the goal."
