FootballThomas Tuchel: Former Chelsea Manager Rejects Offers From Two Premier League Clubs
- Former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has turned down opportunities to take over as head coach from two Premier League clubs
- Tuchel has similarly rejected an offer from a La Liga club after initially refusing to join Bayer Leverkusen
- He was sacked by Chelsea last month, with his position replaced almost immediately by Graham Potter
Thomas Tuchel has seemingly decided to take a mini-break from the touchline, following his sacking as Chelsea boss last month.
Either that, or the current job offers in the market do not excite the German head coach. This is after reports emerged that he had rejected offers from two Premier League clubs.
The Telegraph reports that Tuchel was offered an opportunity by two Premier Leagues clubs and one from La Liga. The 49-year-old rejected the offers, coupled with the one that had come from Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.
The Champions League-winning manager is seemingly not in a rush to get back to employment. Tuchel was brutally sacked by Chelsea's owners after a poor run of form that culminated in a shock 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb.

Clubs Tuchel rejected still unknown
The Telegraph report does not reveal the identity of the clubs.
Of the current top six clubs that Tuchel could consider at the moment, only Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp is struggling. However, Klopp has remained defiant that the Reds' owners trust him to get consistent results, according to Sports Illustrated.
Leicester City's Brendan Rodgers is also living on the edge, but it is highly unlikely Tuchel would want to take over at the King Power Stadium.
In Spain, Sevilla's Julen Lopetegui was finally relieved of his duties after an extremely pathetic start to the season. He has since been replaced by Jorge Sampaoli.

Even as this unfolds, Sports Brief had earlier reported that Thomas Tuchel is exploring the possibility of becoming manager of the England national team in the near future.
This is according to reports from Germany, which claim the former Chelsea gaffer is open to switching to a national team role.
Tuchel was sacked by Chelsea a few weeks ago after 100 games in charge, being replaced almost immediately by Graham Potter.
