Raheem Sterling could lead a new-look Chelsea attack when the 2022/23 football season commences as the English winger is set to depart the Etihad Stadium.

Sterling who has 12 months left on his current Manchester City contract has been touted to join Chelsea this summer as the Blues plan on strengthening their attack.

Sterling’s arrival at the Stamford Bridge could see the 27-year-old forward lead a new forward line at Chelsea that includes Mason Mount and Kai Havertz.

With Romelu Lukaku edging towards a return to Inter Milan, Chelsea could provide Sterling with a platform to play a more starring role Daily Mirror reports.

Tuchel will be optimistic that Sterling can easily adapt to his preferred 3-4-3 shape while also reviving Chelsea's offense next season.

Meanwhile, Chelsea appears confident in its bid to sign Raheem Sterling this summer transfer window as long as a fee can be agreed with Manchester City for the player Sky Sports reports.

Thomas Tuchel who is a huge admirer of Sterling believes the Manchester City forward is better suited to Chelsea's style of play than Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku.

Even though Sterling's contract at Manchester City expires in a year, the club is said to value him at up to £60 million.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Manchester City star Raheem Sterling is reportedly seeking assurances from Thomas Tuchel that he will be guaranteed play time should he choose to join Chelsea.

Sterling’s future at Manchester City is shrouded in doubt, with rumours rife that he will seek a move away this summer.

Chelsea and Real Madrid have emerged as potential destinations for the England international.
