Kante sets unwanted record against Real Madrid in stunning stats before he was subbed off

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante seems to be struggling in recent times as he was substituted off before the second half of their Champions League loss to Real Madrid.

And his performance shows why Thomas Tuchel was correct to replace him as he managed just 45 ineffective minutes at Stamford Bridge as Los Blancos caused havoc.

SunSport reports that Tuchel disclosed that he was making a tactical change as the Blues returned to a back four formation in the second half of the game.

Kante was in the starting lineup for the Blues alongside Jorginto and Mason Mount, who all played in the midfield as Mateo Kovacic benched.

But Frenchman Kante had just 21 touches in the entire first half and completed 15 passes out of the 21 he attempted.
