Thomas Tuchel has broken his silence following Roman Abramovich's decision to sell Chelsea.
Abramovich confirmed on Wednesday, March 2, he is looking to offload the west London club to a different owner.
The Russian oligarch's decision came amid mounting pressure for the UK government to freeze assets owned by businesspeople believed to have close ties with Vladimir Putin.
According to Abramovich, the decision to relinquish ownership of Chelsea after close to 20 years at the helm is in the best interest of the club.
Tuchel backs Abramovich's decision to sell Chelsea
Tuchel has now voiced his opinion on the developments at Stamford Bridge, describing the decision taken by Abramovich as the right one.
The German tactician further revealed he hopes the move will not negatively impact the squad, adding that they are trying "to cancel the noise and stay focused."
"I think every decision he takes is the right decision, it is his choice, his club, it is not on me to comment," he said as quoted by The Sun.
"In the very short term for us as a team, staff and players, hopefully not too much [disruption], maybe even it will change nothing," he added.
