Chelsea winger, Callum Hudson-Odoi is on his way to Ghana just 24 hours after featuring in the Blues' victory over Tottenham on Sunday in the English Premier League.
The 21-year-old returns to Ghana, where he spent the summer holidays for a short vacation, before moving back to continue his season.
In a photo posted on Twitter, spotted by SportsBrief.com, the forward is in a plane headed to the West African country.
While Hudson-Odoi is coming to Ghana for a short break, it is also reported that he will be having a discussion with the Ghana Football Association about his international career.
Hudson-Odoi's future with the Three Lions of England looks bleak, despite his outstanding form with the Blues this season under Thomas Tuchel.
The England U17 World Cup winner, twice rejected an England U21 call up, with reports suggesting he wants to concentrate on his club career.
In June 2021, Hudson-Odoi was in Ghana and met president of the country Nana Akufo-Addo as well as the GFA boss Kurt Okraku and the Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif.
The FA boss and the Sports Minister were charged by the president to convince the Chelsea player to switch allegiance and play for Ghana.
Callum Hudson-Odoi has made 23 appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals.
Hudson-Odoi refuses England U21 call up
