Ghana defender Tariq Lamptey has expressed gratitude to fans of the Black Stars for their overwhelming support for the team at the World Cup in Qatar.
Ghana exited the tournament at the group stage after a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Uruguay on Friday.
However, Lamptey believes the team will build from the disappointment of Qatar and come back stronger in the future.
"I thank God for this moment and the opportunity we have been given, we would have liked things to have turned out differently but God's timing is best. We’ll use this as more motivation and work even harder," he wrote on Twitter.

"A big thank you to everyone for all the support, really appreciate it," he added.
The former England youth international was one of Ghana's standout performers at the tournament despite making only two appearances.
The Brighton and Hove defender missed the final game against Uruguay, having come on as a second half substitute in the opener against Portugal and starting against South Korea.
Lamptey switched nationalities to represent Ghana in June this year. He made his Black Stars debut against Brazil in September.
