Two days after Ghana's elimination from the 2022 FIFA World Cup, players of the national team have taken to various social media platforms to react.

While many shared their pride in representing the country, others were disappointed with the team's performance and have promised to bounce back strongly in future.

The Black Stars were booted out of the tournament after a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Uruguay in their final group game at Al Janoub.

Andre Ayew breaks silence after World Cup exit

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Black Stars captain Andre Ayew has revealed that he has been going through a difficult time in his life following Ghana's group stage elimination at the World Cup.

The 32-year-old rushed to the hospital after the game between Ghana and Uruguay following news his daughter had collapsed.

Ayew also lost his godson just before the start of the World Cup in Qatar and in a lengthy message on social media, the forward paid tribute to young Adam.
