Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham is feeling remorseful after his clash with Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies required the defender to end up in hospital.
The 19-year-old English midfielder had hit Davies in the face with his boots, forcing the Bayern Munich defender to be forced off at half-time in the 2-2 draw at the Signal Iduna Park.
Alphonso Davies was suspected to have a concussion after the incident and Bellingham has now apologized to the Bayern Munich defender in a post-match presser, Bulinews reports.

"It wasn't intentional. I didn't want to hurt him and I wish him a quick recovery. His head was way down. I would never want to hurt someone in a challenge."
Jude Bellingham was only yellow carded for the incident that happened in the 14th minute of the encounter as Dortmund rallied back from 2 goals down to earn a 2-2 draw against the Bundesliga champions.
Bellingham and Borussia Dortmund at odds over Liverpool move
Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham is favouring a move to Liverpool when he decides to leave the Bundesliga club, Tribal Football reports.
The 19-year-old midfielder would prefer a move to the English Premier League rather than Spain with Real Madrid also showing a keen interest in the Dortmund star.
