Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mane is inching close to making a return from injury after resuming gym work.
The Senegal forward suffered an injury last November which ruled him out of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Mane's recovery continued after some months on the sidelines. He started active exercise this week in a bid to rejoin his teammates for the second round of the campaign.
"Working hard for he comeback," he wrote on social media.

Having missed the last few games before the World Cup break, the 30-year-old is expected to be available just in time for the return of the UEFA Champions League.
Mane joined the German giants in the summer transfer window from English giants Liverpool, after winning a double in his last campaign.
He was crowned Africa's Player of the Year 2022 after leading the Teranga Lions to their first ever Africa Cup of Nations triumph.
His absence at the World Cup was visibly identified as Senegal suffered round of 16 elimination at the hands of England.
