A statue of Senegal legend Sadio Mane has drawn massive reactions from fans of the player on social media.
The statue, designed and built by a Senegalese artist, was spotted in the player's hometown of Bambali.
The sculpture was designed with the player in a Senegalese jersey, reminiscent of one of his celebrations during AFCON 2021.
However, it did not bear the resemblance of Mane, leaving fans of the Bayern Munich star unhappy.

Mane is revered in Senegal, after leading the West African nation to their first Africa Cup of Nation success early this year.
The 30-year-old forward joined Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window from Liverpool and has since been an important player for the German outfit.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mane says his best is yet to come, after putting on another masterclass performance for the Bavarians in their 6-2 win over Mainz.
Mane continued his resurgent form in front of goal as he netted once and provided two assists, as the German champions temporarily returned to the top of the Bundesliga table. Mane has scored 11 goals in all competitions for Bayern Munich this season.
According to SB Nation, Mane has been self-critical of his performances and believes he can still improve on his current form for the Bavarians.
