Bayern Munich forward, Sadio Mane says his best is yet to come after putting on another masterclass performance for the Bavarians in their 6-2 win over Mainz.

Mane continued his resurgent form in front of goal as he netted once and provided two assists, as the German champions temporarily returned to the top of the Bundesliga table.

According to SB Nation, Mane has been self-critical of his performances and believes he can still get much better than how he is playing now for Bayern Munich.

“I’m here for the team, trying to score goals, provide assists, and win games for the team. But I can always get better at everything. I can show more and more.”

Mane already has 6 Bundesliga goals for Bayern Munich and the Senegal international has found the net 3 times also in the UEFA Champions League.

Mane handed favourite playing position

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann has revealed he now plays Sadio Mane in his Liverpool position to bring out the best from the forward, Daily Mirror reports.

Jurgen Klopp had earlier admitted the Senegalese forward was missed at Anfield, after the forward joined Bayern Munich in the summer.

Mane, who joined the Bavarians in a £35.1million deal, bagged his 11th goal for his new club on Saturday, despite being foiled from the penalty spot by visiting goalkeeper Robin Zentner.
