Bayern Munich rubbishes talk of bid for Cristiano Ronaldo

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich has reiterated the club made no bid to sign Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, Eurosport reports.

Hasan Salihamidzic, the club's sporting director, denied the allegations that Ronaldo had been considered should Lewandowski leave the Allianz Arena this summer.

Bayern Munich moved to strengthen their attacking threat by signing Sadio Mane from Liverpool, and the Senegalese forward has proven to be the best choice having scored more than 5 goals since his debut.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Bayern Munich sporting director, Hasan Salihamidzic has described reports linking Tottenham striker, Harry Kane to the Bundesliga club as nothing but rumours.
