During the hunt for the equaliser, Leipzig had to give possession back to Bayern and Olmo do so very sneakily. The Spanish international carefully dribbled the ball to the touchline, ensuring that it didn’t go out.
Lucas Hernandez then picked up the ball, assuming it was a throw and was immediately penalised for committing a handball.
At first, Hernandez and the Bayern players weren’t sure why a freekick was given against them and protested the matter until the referee explained that the ball hadn’t gone out.
The footage of the incident has left fans amazed by Olmo’s intelligence and also left many in stitches.
Sadly the little piece of skill had no effect on the overall score, as Bayern went on to win 5-3 and claim their third SuperCup title in a row.
