Bayern Munich are edging closer to signing a promising young attacker.
The German giants have agreed on a deal with Stade Rennais FC for 17-year-old Mathys Tel, and the player is in Germany to finalise the move.
As reported by Bulinews, Tel is undergoing a medical in Munich today, July 25, before signing his contract. He will sign a five-year deal with the German side after Bayern, and Stade Rennais settled on a €28.5 million deal.
Bayern’s coach Julian Nagelsmann has huge expectations for the youngster and believes that there are big things to come from Tel.

"He could become one of the best strikers one day. I have the vision that he can score 40 goals one day. But I would be happy with 10 goals in the first season," Nagelsmann said.
Tel is highly-rated and broke Eduardo Camavinga's record for being the youngest play to play for Stade Rennais when he made his Ligue 1 debut last year, Goal reported.
Tel has made 10 appearances for the Stade Rennais side but has yet to find the back of the net.
