The 30-year-old forward has been nominated for the prestigious award nine times in his illustrious career but has failed to win the top prize.

According to Football Espana, Luis Suarez, who played alongside Neymar at Barcelona, has blamed the Brazilian’s decision to leave the Catalan giants as the reason why he is yet to win the award.
