Robert Lewandowski had an underwhelming performance in his first-ever El Clasico since joining Barcelona in the summer.
Lewandowski, who has taken to life in La Liga like fish to water, was on the losing side as Real Madrid edged their bitterest rivals in the first instalment of the Clasico.

The 34-year-old was presented with a golden chance when the score was 1-0 in favour of Real Madrid however, Lewy managed to miss from close range.
Lewandowski, who bagged a brace for the Catalan giants in midweek against Inter Milan, latched onto an accurate pass inside the box and immediately unleashed a shot towards the goal.
Unfortunately for the former Bayern Munich goal poacher, who is usually clinical in such positions, scuffled his effort as his effort went high over the crossbar in the 24th minute.
It proved to be a costly missed opportunity as Madrid rode on to secure the win and the bragging rights over Lewandowski's Barcelona, Daily Mail reports.
