Luis Suarez has opened up about the role Paris Saint-Germain forwards Lionel Messi and Neymar played, in helping him secure the 2015 Pichichi Trophy in Spain.
Suarez, Messi and Neymar formed one of the world’s best striking partnerships during their years together at Barcelona, winning 9 trophies together at their time at Camp Nou.
The Uruguayan forward emerged as the 'Golden Boot' winner in the 2015/16 campaign in Spain, after netting 40 goals in La Liga. He has now revealed that Messi and Neymar played a key part in that accomplishment.
“Messi and Neymar helped me to win the golden boot. They were always looking for me on the pitch. I really appreciate that, there was no arrogance from either side and all three of us were happy.”

Suarez, who arrived from Liverpool for a fee of £75 million in 2014, became Barcelona's third-highest goal-scorer with 198 goals in 283 matches.

Meanwhile, Luis Suarez has revealed Lionel Messi was instrumental in the success of his Barcelona career after arriving at the Catalan club from Liverpool in 2014, Sportskeeda reports.
Suarez explained that the 7-time Ballon d’Or winner is a true friend and added they both helped each other succeed at Camp Nou, where they won several laurels together.
Suarez and Messi have since left Barcelona, with the Uruguayan joining Atletico Madrid in 2020 and the Argentine maestro leaving a year later to join Paris Saint-Germain.
