UEFA Champions League: Losing Finalists Liverpool Draw Napoli, Ajax In Fairly Pliable Group

Meanwhile, Liverpool have been handed a fairly manageable group after the six-time Champions were pitted in Group A along with Dutch champions Ajax, Serie A outfit Napoli and Rangers from Scotland.

The Reds will be aiming to go a step further after losing narrowly to Spanish giants Real Madrid in the finals last season - inadvertently missing out on the elusive quadruple.

Jurgen Klopp's charges have not begun the campaign on a bright note - drawing twice and losing against bitterest rivals Manchester United last Monday.
