Xavi has not hidden his desire to bring in new legs who can help him challenge Real Madrid for the La Liga title next season.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Barcelona will need to sell a number of their players in order to raise significant funds to supplement their transfer kitty.
The publication claims as many as nine players have been earmarked for sale ahead of the summer transfer window.
Marca reports Dutch stars Frenkie de Jong and Memphis Depay headline the long list of players who could be on their way out of the Camp Nou.
Other players who have been made available for the potential suitors include Neto, Clement Lenglet, Sergino Dest, Oscar Mingueza, Samuel Umtiti, Riqui Puig, and Martin Braithwaite.

Of the nine players, it is De Jong who could attract a substantial transfer fee, with a number of clubs believed to be interested in his services.
Manchester United and rivals, Man City, have both been linked with a move for the Netherlands international.
The Catalans have already reportedly set a £58m asking price on Dutchman, with the La Liga giants keen to recoup some of the money they invested in his transfer when they signed him from Ajax.
