Kumasi-based Ghanaian powerhouse, Asante Kotoko have obtained a brand new 36-seater luxurious bus.

In a post made on the club's official Twitter account, the Porcupine Warriors disclosed the bus is a state-of-the-art 2021 Volvo Marcopolo B8R Bio-Safe Executive Coach.

The bus boasts of a 36-seater capacity which was acquired through the club's latest partnership with financial institution, Access Bank.

Kotoko, currently sitting pretty at the top of the league table, will play host to Dreams FC in the opening game of the second round on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

How does the ultra-modern bus look like

Although photos of the bus has not been revealed, it is bound to have the predominant red colours laced with the logo of Access Bank per the 2-d version posted on Twitter.

The state-of-the-art bus is a 36-seater coach with luxurious sitting arrangements which will be outdoored at a ceremony in the coming days.

The 2021 Volvo Marcopolo B8R Bio-Safe Executive Coach will serve the purposes of transporting the playing body and technical team to match day venues.

Multi-functional sports journalist to officiate Super Clash

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that for the first time in its history, a man journalist-turned-referee will officiate the biggest clash in the Ghana Premier League this weekend.

Rustum Gameli Senorgbe, who had excelled as journalist and radio anchor with Ho Premier, has been selected by the referee's appointment committee to be at the centre of the titanic encounter between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko on Sunday.

Senorgbe will be assisted by Gilbert Adom Mensah and Patrick Papala, while Bashiru Dauda will be the fourth official for the big game.
