Arsenal are set for a busy Premier League schedule that could potentially decide their title fate.

The Gunners have emerged as the firm favourites to win the Premier League crown this term after an incredible run of form and results.

However, Mikel Arteta's charges hit a rough patch on April 9 after they were held to a 2-2 draw against Liverpool.

The league leaders surrendered a 2-0 lead to settle for the draw, with Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino cancelling out goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus.

According to Sky Sports, the draw threw the Premier League title race wide open, with only six points separating Arsenal and Man City, the latter having a game in hand.

Given those circumstances, Arsenal's next few fixtures could prove decisive in their hope of winning the title for the first time in almost a decade.

Who are Arsenal playing next?

With no other engagements apart from top-flight football, Arteta's men will now switch their focus to their upcoming trip to West Ham United.

While that match looks easy on paper, the Hammers are expected to give their London rivals a run for their money as they are also trying to avoid relegation.

The Gunners will then host relegation-battlers, Southampton on April 21 before travelling to the Etihad Stadium to battle Man City five days later.

A London derby against Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium will follow three days later, as the north Londoners prepare for fixtures against Champions League-chasing Newcastle United and high-flying Brighton.

Sports Brief also reported on Arsenal remaining atop the standings in the Premier League despite dropping points against Liverpool.

The north Londoners were forced to a 2-2 draw at Anfield on Sunday, with the Reds staging a comeback to secure a point.

Only six points are now separating the Gunners at the top with second-placed Manchester City, who have a game in hand.
