Speaking to BT Sports after the game, as quoted by Metro UK, the skipper had a message of support for Martinelli.
‘‘We win and lose together. It doesn’t matter. When we’re winning everyone is happy; when we lose, we have to pick up the spirit. We win and lose together."
Odegaard added, ‘‘We have to remember it’s been a great season, It’s a big blow to go out of this competition but now we look forward to the league; that’s all we can do now."
According to data provided by the Premier League official website, the Brazilian has scored 12 goals and provided two assists in 27 league games for Mikel Arteta's team, which has proven pivotal to their title chase.
