Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has revealed the reason behind Eddie Nketiah's move from Chelsea to the Emirates Stadium.
Nketiah was released by the Blues as a youngster in 2015 before he joined Arsenal, where he went through the ranks to become a key figure at the London club.
The English-born Ghanaian worked with Henry during the twilight of his career, where the Frenchman often visited the youth set-up.
According to Henry, Nketiah was eager for more play time at Chelsea, but Tammy Abraham was preferred over the England youth forward.

“He was at Chelsea in his early years. People don’t know that," Henry said as quoted by HITC. “Because Abraham was there and doing what he was doing, he left Chelsea to come to Arsenal.”
Nketiah started in Arsenal's 3-1 victory over West Ham on Boxing Day, scoring a stunning goal to seal the win on the home pitch.
“You win a title with a squad. That is very important and what Nketiah showed tonight; he showed that he can be the answer for the time being," Henry added.
The 23-year-old has scored in his last 11 starts for the Gunners.

Nketiah signs new contract
Ghanaian forward Nketiah says there's unfinished business at Arsenal for him, following his five-year contract extension with the Gunners.
The 23-year-old would have been out of contract at the end of the season, but his performances this year have encouraged the London club to keep hold of him.
Nketiah has made 92 first-team appearances and has scored 23 goals since his debut for the Arsenal first XI in 2017.
