Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has shared his excitement following the return of Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey.
Partey struggled as the Black Stars suffered a first round elimination at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The 29-year-old rejoined his Arsenal teammates in Dubai for mid-season training ahead of the return of the English Premier League.
The Ghana international played 45 minutes as Arsenal defeated AC Milan in a friendly on Tuesday.

Arteta reacted to the midfielder's disappointing World Cup but expressed delight in having Partey back.
“He (Thomas Partey) played a lot and he was disappointed by the way he had to leave the World Cup but it happens to every nation that they are out. It takes a few days to reset and to focus on the team,” the Arsenal boss said as quoted by Pulse.
“The good thing we have is that everybody has been showing that they are desperate to get back as quickly as possible. It was really good to have those two back today playing some minutes.”
Partey has been an integral part of Arteta's side as the North London outfit sit top of the English Premier League.
Arsenal is hoping to win the English topflight for the first time in 19 years.
