Partey has been a key player for the Gunners this season, as the North London outfit sit top of the table as of the World Cup break.

The midfield dynamo will be hoping to help the club to their first title in 19 years.

Meanwhile, Partey featured in all three games for Ghana at the World Cup in Qatar. He lasted full time in the games against Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.

Muntari unhappy with Partey's performance

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that former Black Stars midfielder Sulley Muntari believes Partey needs time to improve on what he brings to the national team.

Partey has come under intense pressure from Ghanaians following his lukewarm display for the Black Stars at the World Cup.

Fans of the West Africans believe the 29-year-old is not committed to his country due to his role with Arsenal in the English Premier League.

Partey swaps jerseys with Suarez

Arsenal midfielder Partey exchanged jerseys with the 'most hated man' in Ghana - Luis Suarez - after the game against Uruguay at the World Cup in Qatar.

Suarez inspired the Celeste to another victory against the Black Stars, with a brace of assists in the 2-0 win at Al Janoub on Friday.

Despite the hate for Suarez by Ghanaians, Partey was captured swapping jerseys with the former Liverpool player.
