- During the post-match presser, Neves stated that the Gunners celebrated the win as if they won the Premier League title
Following Arsenal’s celebration after their 1-0 win over Wolves at the Molineux, Ruben Neves has blasted the Gunners’ attitude, Express reports.
English giants Arsenal managed to hold on to a crucial 1-0 win at Wolves to take them to fifth position on the English Premier League standings.
Three points for Mikel Arteta’s men mean the Gunners are still very much alive in the race for a top-four finish this season.
The only goal of the game came in the 25th minute following a scrappy one as Gabriel nudged the ball over the line from close range after Alexandre Lacazette tangled with Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa.
And right after the final blast of the whistle, the Gunners went haywire as they celebrated the crucial three points, which seems to have infuriated Neves.
He told BBC Sport as per SPOTTbible:
"With their goal there is some doubt about whether it was a foul or not but that's football. We are used to these decisions.
"I can accept the decision about their goal but in some games they give it and in some games they don't. They need to do the same decisions in every game because it's frustrating for us.
"We saw the way they celebrated the win and that shows the level we are. I didn't see Arsenal celebrating like this in the past 10 years - it was like they won the league."
The Portuguese midfielder is a player the Gunners looked at the signing last summer but his comments may now hamper his chances of earning a move to the Emirates Stadium in the future.

FootballArteta reacts to Aubameyang’s departure
Sports Brief earlier reported that Mikel Arteta has dropped his biggest hint yet over his strained relationship with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Aubameyang's fallout with the Arsenal boss is understood to have influenced his decision to quit the Emirates during the January transfer window.
But speaking ahead of Thursday night’s clash against Wolves, Arteta suggested the Gabon international's lack of consistent effort on the training pitch had been noted by members of the first-team squad.
