Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus registered his name on the scoresheet as Ajax were held by KAS Eupen in a pre-season friendly.

The 21-year-old smashed home from close range to get the equalizer for Ajax with six minutes remaining.

In a video posted on social media, the Ghana international met a cross from Nicolas Tagliafico from the left to bury the ball into the net.

KAS Eupen opened the scoring in the 50th minute through Smail Prevljak.

Mohammed Kudus joined his teammates in pre-season this week following a long vacation due to his involvement in international football.

The midfield ace was involved in all four Ghana games during the June international break, playing in the AFCON qualifiers against Madagascar and the Central African Republic. He scored in both games.

He travelled with the Black Stars team to Japan for the Kirin Cup tournament, featuring in the games against Japan and Chile.

KAS Eupen had Ghana goalkeeper Abdul Manaf Nurudeen between the sticks and winger Isaac Nuhu also playing the game.

Mohammed Kudus pops up on the radar of OGC Nice

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghanaian midfielder, Mohammed Kudus, could leave the Dutch Eredivisie to join French outfit OGC Nice in the summer transfer window.

Mohammed Kudus begins pre-season with Ajax

Ghana international Mohammed Kudus has commenced pre-season training with his Dutch club Ajax Amsterdam ahead of the start of the 2022/23 season.

The 23-year-old midfielder trained at the gym with his teammates on Thursday, July 7, as the new season looms.

In a post on Twitter, Kudus was spotted undergoing fitness routines as he gears up for the new season which kicks off in August.
