Manchester United talisman Cristiano Ronaldo has taken to social media network Instagram to celebrate his mother’s birthday.
Maria Dolores Aveiro who was born in December 31, 1954, turned 67 on December 31 and Ronaldo has decided to lavish some nice words on his mom as he posted an adorable picture of her on social media.
The former Juventus and Real Madrid forward called his mother a warrior and attributed his competitive spirit to his 66-year old mother.
“Many congratulations to the best mother in the world, a warrior who always taught me not to give up, the best grandmother my children could ever dream of having… I love you so much, my mother! Kiss!” Ronaldo wrote on Instagram.
Ronaldo who re-joined Manchester United from Juventus last summer was in action for the Red Devils on Thursday, scoring United’s second goal as Ralf Ragnick’s team secured maximum points against the Clarets at Old Trafford.
The 36-year old striker will be hoping to inspire Manchester United to their first silverware in over three years after unsuccessful spells under former manager Ole Gunner Solksjaer.
