FootballOdion Ighalo is among the Super Eagles players invited for the January 2022 AFCON which will hold in Cameroon and he will want to shine for Nigeria.
At the last edition of the AFCON, Odion Ighalo finished as the highest goalscorer in Egypt as Nigeria came third behind Senegal and Algeria.
However, there are other strikers like Taiwo Awoniyi, Victor Osimhen, Onuachu, Dennis and Ahmed Musa who will give Ighalo competition in the Super Eagles squad.
Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how reports from the Super Eagles camp say Union Berlin striker Taiwo Awoniyi and Enyimba goalkeeper John Noble have arrived for the final preparation before the Africa Cup of Nations kicks off.
Their arrival was confirmed on the team’s official Facebook page on Wednesday night as they join Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah who was the first to reach.
