Just two months after making his debut for AS Roma in the Italian serie A, Felix Afena-Gyan is already attracting interest from rival clubs ahead of the winter transfer window.
The 18-year-old has popped up on the radar of U.S Sassuolo Calcio, according to Ghanaian football portal Ghanasoccernet.
Reports in Italy also reveals Sassuolo want the Ghanaian teen as replacement for Atalanta-bound Jeremie Boga.
Jeremie Boga will be joining Atalanta in January after signing a deal worth 22 million Euros, following a good season with Sassuolo.
His departure leaves a bug void which needs to be replaced and Afena-Gyan is increasingly reported to be the man.
However, a decision lies with manager Jose Mourinho, having grown fond of the talented forward.
Afena-Gyan is yet to start a game at AS Roma, and plays as a second striker to English attacker Tammy Abraham.
Meanwhile, Sassuolo are set to hand the youngster a starting berth.
AS Roma will only allow the forward leave on loan as they are not interested in letting him depart on permanent basis.
Felix Afena-Gyan made his serie A debut in a game against Cagliari, where he came in as a second half substitute.
His performance earned his a place in the first team and followed up with a brace for AS Roma against Genoa.
