- Readers have reacted with anger to the allegations levelled against Barcelona and Cameroon great Samuel Eto'o
- Eto'o, president of the Cameroon Football Association, has been accused of evading taxes by the Spanish tax office

Readers are not happy about the allegations levelled against legendary former Barcelona and Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o.
Eto'o, now president of the Cameroon Football Association, was one of thousands of people accused of evading the taxman in Spain. This was on a list compiled by the Spanish tax office stating that the individuals on it owed €600,000 (R10.7 million) or more.
As reported by Sports Brief, Eto'o had also been accused of conspiring to evade €3.9 million (R69.2 million) in taxes owed on income from his image rights when he played for FC Barcelona from 2004 to 2009. He has yet to comment on the latest accusation.
Either way, readers reacted with outrage to the news.
