Mo Salah Mobbed Again as Gabon Players Plead for Egyptian Star's Shirt

Following Egypt’s 2-1 win over Gabon in the World Cup qualifiers, Liverpool star Mohamed Salah was mobbed by opposing players who wanted to have his shirt, Daily Star reports.

Many have referred to Salah as the best player in the world right now, and consequently fans and footballers alike would love to have his shirt.

The Egyptian star came off the bench in the final 30 minutes of the match inside the Borg El Arab Stadium, but despite the defeat, Gabon players were more concerned about Salah’s shirt.

As the 29-year-old made way off the pitch, several Gabonese were seen around him as they jostle for the shirt.

SPORTbible are claiming that the Liverpool forward handled the situation with maturity claiming he had promised someone else the shirt.

Tuesday's 2-1 win over Gabon followed on from a 2-2 draw away in Angola on Friday, where Salah registered two assists.

Liverpool ace Mohammed Salah is certainly adored beyond Merseyside and England, and this was proven on Friday, November 12.

Angolan fans earlier mobbed Salah

Recall that two Angolan fans had to be escorted outside the pitch after risking it all to mob the Liverpool superstar during a World Cup qualifier clash involving Egypt and Angola.

The pitch invaders managed to give Salah a quick embrace before eventually being guided back to the stands in the entertaining clash that ended in a 2-2 draw.

Full marks have to be given to Salah, as the forward decided to embrace the two super fans, rather than snub them.

Xavi desperately want Salah at Liverpool

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that following his appointment as manager of Spanish club Barcelona, Xavi Hernandez is already preparing for team rebuild at Camp Nou.

Reports have it that the former Barca midfielder is desperate in matching La Liga rivals Real Madrid who are already closing in on Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe.

Xavi wants Liverpool star Mohamed Salah at all cost and will do everything to land the Egyptian superstar to the Catalan club.
