Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo is such a player who doesn't take anything personally.
The 42-year-old former defender shared the same dressing room with the Portugal international for six years (2003-2009) and they achieved so much under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ronaldo moved to the Santiago Bernabeu in the then world-record fee worth £80 million to represent Real Madrid - a relationship that lasted nine years with so many trophies involved.

However, in spite of his numerous achievements in his career, Ferdinand claims the 36-year-old is still the same player who is not afraid to laugh at himself regardless of the situation.
The former England player said on his Vibe with Five YouTube show and reported by SunSport that:
"Yeah man, we have a laugh. If I see something funny or a meme on Instagram it gets smashed onto WhatsApp to make sure he sees it so you can take the mick out of him.
"He's always been like that, even as a kid when he came to United, he ain't scared to laugh at himself. He doesn't take nothing personal, he's just one of the lads - but he's the best."
Despite his advanced age, Ronaldo still has all the energy to compete like any other young player and Rio showered praises on his former teammate for his excellent work rate, saying:
Ivory Coast legend Kolo Toure outlines difference between Thierry Henry and Erling Haaland
Football"Everyone sees all of the fast cars, the aeroplane trips, the private plane, the fashion, the million-dollar smile etc. But what I see when I look at him is a work ethic that's unrivalled, simple as that.
"I think that's the takeaway for any kids when they look at him, when they hear about him, when they're aspiring to be someone like Cristiano Ronaldo - work ethic has to be at the absolute base of any ambition to be the best."
Meanwhile, the footballer turned pundit gave an assessment on the Red Devils' defence under Ols Gunnar Solskjaer, he said:
"I think that’s Ole’s biggest concern - can he leave Maguire one-v-one on the halfway line? Or Lindelof? "It’s proven that you can’t as that’s not their main attributes.
"Harry Maguire is good at a lot of other things but that area, that’s one of his weak points."
