Former Arsenal and Manchester City defender, Kolo Toure has outlined the difference between ex-teammate Thierry Henry and red-hot striker Erling Haaland.

The Norwegian forward netted his 32nd Premier League goal of the season against Leicester City to equal Mohamed Salah's best haul in a single campaign.

Haaland, who scored twice against the Foxes, needs two more goals to equal Alan Shearer and Andy Cole's 34 goals in a season.

While analyzing the qualities of the Man City forward, Toure revealed where Haaland lacked in comparison with Henry.

"For me when I look at him he is strong, powerful. Technically, he is not unbelievable. You can see his feet is not amazing but what he does is that when he is in the box, he always makes sure he is in the right position, very aggressive and makes double movement in his run. He fakes you to go forward and stays back and sometimes fakes you to stay back and he moves upfront," Toure told Sky Sports.
"For me Thierry Henry had something, if you feed him great. If you don't, he will come back take the ball, dribble one or two players and score. I don't think Haaland has that. Very rarely, you see him take the ball and attack tow players and score."

Toure and Henry were part of the Arsenal invincible team that won the league title in 2003/04 season.

Haaland equals Salah's record

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Erling Haaland continued with his fine goalscoring form after he bagged a first-half brace against Leicester City on April 15.

The Manchester City striker scored from the penalty spot before chipping the ball over Daniel Iversen to add to John Stones' early opener.

Haaland's goals took him to 32 goals for the campaign, equalling Mohamed Salah's best season goal tally that he set in the 2017/2018 season.
