The Ghanaian sniper was on the scoresheet as the Buccaneers edged Marumo Gallants 2-1 at Orlando Stadium to climb into second place on the log table. He had gone more than 11 hours without finding the back of the net since signing on from King Faisal Babes in the Ghanaian Premier League.

His bluntness in front of goals had become something of a punchline for football fans, but it appears that the striker has won a lot of them back over.

@JoeweeCarter90:

"Well deserved goals, they've coming... Patience is a virtue, hope this is only the beginning Kwame. #OnceAlways"

@QaphelaniKhanyi said:

"Well done Kwame, keep working hard, I see many goals from you, Up the Bucs."

@Zibicat said:

"Congratulations Kwame! Please work on not losing the ball, you lose too many balls in a game."

@ThetoWamoAfrika said:

"Pirates fans are clowns! They were saying Kwame Peprah is not a soccer player, but today, because he scored a brace he's a soccer genius. Soweto giants fans are clowns! Period."

"Danko Bhakaniya! There's more of your GREATNESS coming with more goals. Hard work forever pays."

Benni Mccarthy destroys Sundowns' unbeaten record, social media goes wild

Benni McCarthy has proven that David can beat Goliath after AmaZulu FC became the first club to break the Mamelodi Sundowns' unbeaten record this season.

According to a Briefly News report, it took just one goal to stop the Brazilians and only one coach has been able to do it. Both teams entered the second half without a goal but it was the determination and will to win of the AmaZulu players that tipped the balance.
