Super Eagles forward Moses Simon may have been ruled out of Nigeria's 2022 Africa Cup of Nations' qualifier against Sierra Leone later this month.

The three-time AFCON kings sit atop of Group L with six points after victories over Lesotho and Benin in their first two fixtures.

They however welcome the Leone Stars to the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Friday, November 13 while they travel to Freetown for the second leg four days later.

But it is unlikely that the 25-year-old winger would be a part of the squad after being substituted in their 25th minute of Nantes' 3-0 defeat to Paris Saint Germain this weekend.

His early removal from the game was as a result of the knock he picked in the opening half of the encounter and he was replaced by Kader Bamba for the remainder of the match.

Meanwhile, Moses missed a glorious opportunity that could have handed his side the lead as early as the 15th minute of the game.
