Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann have come under heavy stick from fans following their underwhelming performance at Euro 2024, but teammate Adrien Rabiot believes they will turn their fortunes around.

Mbappe needed a penalty to score his only goal so far in the championship, while Griezmann is yet to find the back of the net after five games for Les Blues as both players form has caused some panic among French supporters.

According to Sportskeeda, Rabiot, speaking ahead of France’s semi-final clash versus Spain, noted that the entire French team is behind both players, insisting they have blind faith in them.

"For Kylian and Antoine, maybe their legs aren't as fresh as they could be, but we are 100% behind them. We have blind faith in them. They are players who can change a game at any point. When we have the captain [Mbappe] or Antoine experiencing a rough patch, it's fine, we are there to support them."

France will tackle Spain at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday, July 9, for a chance to secure a ticket to the final of Euro 2024.

Deschamps defends Mbappe after criticisms

Meanwhile, France manager Didier Deschamps has come to Mbappe's defence, saying the embattled striker has "already made enough history" for his country, Eurosport reports.

The 25-year-old forward has not been at his best at the tournament so far, scoring just one goal from the penalty spot against Poland.

Mbappe has been wearing a mask after breaking his nose following a collision with Kevin Danso in France’s opening clash against Austria.

Why Mbappe’s form has been poor

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Mbappe's form at Euro 2024 has been underwhelming despite France's advancement to the semi-finals.

The Real Madrid-bound forward has managed just one goal from 34 attempts at the European Championship (3%), compared to 12 goals from 39 shots (31% conversion rate) at the World Cup.

Former Chelsea and Arsenal forward Nicolas Anelka offered insights into why Mbappe has not found his form, suggesting that a significant factor is the mask the striker has been wearing due to a nose injury sustained in France's opener against Austria.
