Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham has finally provided an explanation for his 'who else' message during England's last-16 clash against Slovakia.

The star midfielder was the man of the moment during the thrilling Euro 2024 encounter played at the Arena AufSchalke on Sunday night, June 30.

The match saw the Three Lions stage an epic comeback to see off the Slovaks, who looked on course to eliminate Gareth Southgate's charges.

The Falcons took the lead through Ivan Schranz in the 25th minute and held firm until the closing stages of the tie.

However, Bellingham had other plans, with the Ballon d'Or contender striking at stoppage time to make it 1-1 with an incredible bicycle kick.

Harry Kane went on to score England's winner shortly after as the Euro 2020 runners-up stormed to the quarter-finals of the tournament.

Bellingham explains reason behind his celebration

Bellingham was overheard shouting 'who else' after he netted the overhead kick, leaving fans confused about what he exactly meant.

The former Borussia Dortmund hotshot has now provided an explanation behind the phrase, admitting that he was overcome with emotion.

"I think the adrenaline gets you," he explained via Metro UK when asked the story behind the shout.
"But it’s a combination of a lot of things, playing for England is an enjoyable feeling but it’s also a lot of pressure, you hear people talk a lot of rubbish.
"It’s nice that when you deliver you can give them a little bit back," he added.

Meanwhile, Bellingham is also a strong contender for this year's Ballon d'Or award following an incredible run of form for club and country.

Bellingham backed to win Ballon d'Or

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Kobbie Mainoo suggesting that Bellingham deserves to win the Ballon d'Or.

Bellingham has been impressive since his move to Real Madrid, helping the club win the La Liga and the Champions League.
