In a video shared on social media, Henrich's mother took turns taking photos with captain Manuel Neuer, Jonathan Tah of Bayer Leverkusen and Niclas Fullkrug.

Meanwhile, Henrichs will be hoping to make his tournament debut in the elimination stages of the competition.

Germany finished top of Group A and will face Denmark in the Round of 16 on Saturday, June 29, 2024.

The RB Leipzig wing-back enjoyed an outstanding campaign last season, scoring a goal and delivering five assists in 33 Bundesliga matches, per Transfermarkt.

Henrichs had wanted to play for Ghana at the international level but attempts to reach the Football Association failed leading to his decision to represent the country of his birth.

Henrichs introduces Jollof to Olmo and Szoboszlai

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that RB Leipzig star Dani Olmo and Liverpool's Dominik Szoboszlai are huge fans of Ghanaian Jollof after tasting the delicacy for the first time.

German-born Ghanaian footballer, Benjamin Henrichs, convinced his teammates to try the Ghanaian dish after their victory over Bayern Munich in the 2022/23 season.

The pair went on to adopt Ghanaian names Kofi and Kwame as they enjoyed their Jollof.

Henrichs disappointed with officiating against Real Madrid

Sports Brief also reported that Henrichs voiced his dissatisfaction with the level of officiating following an incident that occurred during their UCL Round of 16 return leg match against Real Madrid.

Trailing 1-0 from the first leg, Leipzig held onto a glimmer of hope for qualifying at the expense of their esteemed opponents when they clashed at the Santiago Bernabeu last season.

However, their aspirations were shattered when Vinicius Junior broke the deadlock after the hour mark.
