England qualified for the Euro 2024 round of 16 as group winners but fans have called for the sacking of Gareth Southgate owing to the abysmal performances of the Three Lions in the group stage.
The Three Lions have failed to impress in their first three games, winning narrowly 1-0 against Serbia in their opener before a 1-1 draw against Denmark and a goalless draw against Slovenia on June 25.
According to GOAL, popular TV presenter, Richard Keys, has urged the FA to sack Southgate with immediate effect and employ former Premier League manager, Harry Redknapp, on a short-term basis.
"I’m so depressed, I thought that was so miserable once again tonight. I’m at a point where if I were able to make that decision, yes, I probably would because we are going nowhere double quick. We’re here to win it, that, what I’ve seen tonight, that’s not winning the next game, let alone the tournament.

"Harry Redknapp’s sat in Dubai tonight, give him a call. [Jurgen] Klopp won’t do it but Harry, you think he wouldn’t be on a plane tomorrow morning?" Keys remarked.
Southgate has been the manager of the England national team since 2016 and led the Three Lions to the final of the European Championship in 2020, losing against Italy.
Erik ten Hag delivers brutal assessment of Gareth Southgate after England’s win over Serbia
FootballWho could England face next?
Meanwhile, England is guaranteed to face a third-placed team after winning Group C and avoiding a Round of 16 face-off with either Germany or Portugal, Sports Mole reports.
With two groups still to be finished, the Three Lions have no idea who their next opponents will be, but they will be from either Group D or E.
England could end up facing one of the Netherlands, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine, or Belgium in their Euro 2024 round of 16 clash on Sunday in Gelsenkirchen.
Southgate hits back at Ten Hag
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Southgate responded to Erik ten Hag’s criticism of his England set-up during the 1-0 win over Serbia in their Euro 2024 opener.
The Three Lions opened their campaign with a narrow 1-0 victory, thanks to Jude Bellingham’s first-half header, but were second-best for the rest of the match.
Manchester United boss, ten Hag, hit out at Southgate for the team's set-up, claiming it was passive and they were trying to sit on the 1-0 lead early in the game.
