Three left-backs to replace Hlanti at Kaizer Chiefs

1. Rushwin Dortley

Dortley is arguably the perfect player to replace Hlanti at Naturena, as he can also double as a left-back and as a centre-back.

The 22-year-old is a transfer target for Amakhosi after Cape Town Spurs were relegated from the DStv Premiership to the South African First Division.

2. Fawaaz Basadien

Basadien is another fullback who can fill the space Hlanti left behind at Kaizer Chiefs. He was arguably the best left-back in the PSL last season.

According to TransferMarkt, the South African defender scored one goal and provided six assists in 35 appearances for Stellenbosch FC in all competitions.

The 27-year-old can also play as a midfielder on the left side and sometimes as a left-winger.

3. Asekho Tiwani

Tiwani is one of the youngsters in South Africa who have been tipped to move abroad.

The 19-year-old scored one of the best goals in the league last season and has been linked with a move to Romanian Super Liga champions, FSCB and Moldovan giants, Sheriff Tiraspol.

Due to his age, Tiwani, would be the right choice for the Glamour Boys in the long-term. He can also play as a centre-back like Hlanti.
